Lamar Brown and Saleema Muhammad Join Nyhan as Associates
Nyhan proudly welcomes Lamar Brown and Saleema Muhammad as associates representing clients in workers’ compensation claims.
Lamar practices in the areas of workers’ compensation, employment law, and civil litigation and defends clients before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission throughout the State of Illinois and the Circuit Court of Cook County. Before joining Nyhan, Lamar worked as a solo practitioner where he gained a wide variety of legal experience.
Lamar obtained his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2019 and received his B.S. from Grand Valley State University in 2010. While in law school, he was a member of UIC Law’s nationally recognized Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Council.
Saleema concentrates her practice in workers’ compensation matters and brings attentiveness and efficiency to her work. She has experience advising on contract matters in the financial industry.
After earning her B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017, Saleema obtained her J.D. from The Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law in 2021. While in law school, she served as Social Chair of the Black Law Student Association and clerked for the Sixth Municipal District, Markham Courthouse.
