Overview


Alexandra Ysmé concentrates her practice in the area of Workers’ Compensation defense. She manages cases through various stages of litigation, drafting pleadings, motions, answers, discovery, and status reports; conducting depositions; and assisting in trial preparations. Alex has experience representing clients before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and the Illinois Circuit Courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Alex garnered her skillset at a boutique workers’ compensation defense firm as well as at a full-service firm, both located in Chicago.

While in law school, Alex served as a legal intern for Fort Lauderdale’s Guardian ad Litem, 17th Judicial Circuit as well as a law clerk and extern at a full-service business law firm. She received the Pro-Bono Honor Bronze Award for completing more than 100 volunteer hours assisting children in the dependency system through the Guardian Ad Litem program.

She is proficient in Haitian Creole.
