IWCC Benefit Rate Increases

To keep our clients updated regarding developments at the Commission as they affect the exposure our clients face on pending workers’ compensation claims, note that there have been increases in the following benefit amounts effective January 15, 2020:

Minimum TTD/PPD Rates:
Single: $246.27 Effective January 15, 2020
1 Dependent: $283.67 Effective January 15, 2020
2 Dependents: $320.67 Effective January 15, 2020
3 Dependents: $357.67 Effective January 15, 2020
4+ Dependents: $370.00 Effective January 15, 2020
Maximum TTD Rate: $1,549.07 Effective January 15, 2020
Maximum PPD Rate: $836.69 Effective July 15, 2019

Note the increases below regarding the Statewide AWW and impact on minimum and maximum rates for claims of PTD, amputation or enucleation of an eye which are effective from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020:

Statewide AWW: $1,161.80
Minimum PTD, Amputation, Enucleation Rate: $580.90
Maximum PTD, Amputation, Enucleation Rate: $1,549.07
