Congratulations to Amy Bilton

3.23.2022 Firm News

We are proud to announce that our shareholder and co-managing partner, Amy Bilton, was recently inducted as a Fellow into the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers during the Annual Induction held in New Orleans.  She now bears this distinction along with her fellow partners Bill Lowry and Bob Harrington.

The College honors those lawyers whose sustained performance in the practice of workers’ compensation exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism and achievement. Membership is only offered to those attorneys who have proven, through long, continuous performance related to the practice of workers’ compensation law, that they possess the highest professional qualifications and ethical standards; the highest level of character, integrity, professional expertise and leadership; sustained exceptionally high quality professional services to clients, bar, bench and public; and significant evidence of scholarship, teaching, lecturing, and/or distinguished published writings on workers’ compensation law.  Lawyers must have a minimum of twenty years’ experience before they can be considered for Fellowship.

Amy has been defending all types of Illinois employers for the 24 years she has been practicing and started Nyhan, Bambrick, Kinzie, and Lowry’s Medicare Secondary Payer practice group when she joined the firm in 2002.  When not defending employers, Amy loves skiing, traveling, and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity Chicago, where she serves on the Board and as a co-chair of Habitat Chicago’s Women Build initiative.
