Nyhan, Bambrick, Kinzie, & Lowry proudly announces Amy Bilton’s inclusion in Crain’s Chicago Business 2022 Notable Women in Law feature. Amy was recognized not only for her accomplishments in her legal career but also for her efforts to advance women in the legal community.

As a nationally recognized attorney for her work in Workers’ Compensation Defense and Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) matters, Amy’s knowledge and experience have led to the firm’s continued growth.

As the first woman to serve as Co-Managing Shareholder of the firm, Amy is guiding the firm successfully into its future through the recent office space move and remodeling, leading the firm in launching an upcoming rebrand, and integrating and prioritizing DEI initiatives. She works to serve as a voice for women in the firm and beyond while ensuring all firm employees are comfortable addressing concerns and are equipped with the tools needed for success.

Outside of her work with the firm, Amy devotes her time to several organizations, including serving as a board member of Habitat for Humanity Chicago and Committee Co-Chair and Team Leader for the annual Women Build. She also serves as a Fellow with the National College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers and the Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional Organization.

Utilizing her experience in the process of initial investigations, tracking where the liability in the case begins and ends, and through post-settlement actions, she considers the idiosyncrasies of each case to ensure all significant details are uncovered.
