Nyhan Attorneys to Speak and Moderate at the ISIA’s 47th Annual Meeting & Educational Seminar
Nyhan president Bill Lowry and partners Lisa Azoory-Keller and Adam Cox will be presenting and moderating at the upcoming 47th Annual Workers’ Compensation Meeting & Educational Seminar, hosted jointly by the Illinois Self Insurers’ Association and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. The event will be at the Doubletree Hilton in Lisle on Thursday, November 6th, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The seminar will include interactive sessions such as workshops, presentations, and group discussions to provide employers with up-to-date insights and practical support on navigating workers’ compensation issues.
- As Executive Director and Executive Secretary of the ISIA, respectively, Adam and Lisa will examine significant Appellate Court decisions from the past year, analyzing key issues and scenarios to determine the impact for future workers’ compensation claims in their session, “A Potpourri of Appellate Cases.”
- Bill will moderate the legislative panel discussion, featuring Sen. Chris Balkema, Rep. Joyce Mason, and Rep. Dan Ugaste. The discussion will explore recent legislative initiatives and proposed changes to the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act as well as what changes could strengthen the system for both employers and injured workers.
