Nyhan Celebrates Women’s History Month with Firm’s Female Attorney and Staff Accomplishment Highlights
Nyhan has always underscored the pivotal role of investing in women and has placed this as a cornerstone for constructing a thriving and innovative workplace. In celebration of Women’s History Month this year, we are highlighting the firm’s commitment to gender diversity and how it extends across all organizational levels.
Shareholder Amy Bilton exemplifies the firm’s commitment to women’s investment. Over two decades, she founded the firm’s Medicare Secondary Practice Group and made history as our first female co-managing shareholder. She has since been promoted to vice president of the firm, marking yet another milestone of women’s advancement within Nyhan.
On a managerial level, Amy and shareholder Christine Jagodzinski, who represent 40% of the firm’s Management Committee, play key roles in assessing Nyhan’s environment and ensuring the effective execution of DEI initiatives to drive the firm’s growth.
Furthermore:
- Nyhan’s team is comprised of nearly 50% women
- Approximately 30% of the firm’s shareholders are female
- 46% of partners are women
- All associates and over 80% of paraprofessionals in the firm are women
Our DEI initiative focuses on fostering open dialogue, building alliances, and implementing strategic reforms to create an inclusive and culturally aware workplace. We believe in providing equal opportunities and embracing fair practices at the core of our efforts to strengthen our firm.
Nyhan is a dynamic, diverse, and dedicated community of experienced attorneys and support professionals who listen, pursue excellence, keep promises, and deliver immediate results related to Workers’ Compensation, Employment, Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance, as well as Civil Litigation and Employee Workers’ Compensation Fraud matters.
