Nyhan Elevates Sunyoung Cho to Partner in 2026

Nyhan is pleased to announce the elevation of Sunyoung Cho to Partner, effective Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Sunny joined Nyhan as an Associate in October 2023, focusing her practice on workers’ compensation. After earning her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2021, she was admitted to practice in both Illinois and Wisconsin, and gained considerable experience in employment law and civil litigation at a Chicago employment boutique firm, where she filed claims and represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, state court, federal court, and the appellate courts. She leans on this experience to successfully assist clients as they navigate each stage of complex workers’ compensation claims to achieve positive outcomes.

Since joining, Sunny’s knowledge and experience have greatly benefitted the firm and its clients. We are excited for her continued leadership and contributions in this new role as Partner.
