Overview
Anna Christiansen (she/her) concentrates her practice on workers’ compensation defense and is a Certified Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) professional. She is a certified mediator through the Center for Conflict Resolution and has mediated contractual disputes as a volunteer with the organization.
Anna served as both a summer associate and law clerk at Nyhan, contributing firsthand to the defense of corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in civil litigation, workers’ compensation, insurance non-compliance, and settlement matters.
Before joining the firm, she worked as a law clerk at an Illinois-based trial law firm and served as a legal and administrative intern for the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office. While in law school, she served as a Thunderhawk v. Morton County pro bono research clerk for Chicago-Kent College of Law and Columbia Law School’s joint constitutional litigation practicum, advocating a §1983 civil rights case in the 8th Circuit.
