Overview
Cynthia Santiago (she/her) joined Nyhan in March 2015 as a paralegal in the firm’s workers’ compensation practice area, with more than two decades of experience assisting attorneys and clients in achieving positive outcomes. In her current capacity, she provides administrative oversight of the caseload of firm shareholders and partners in her workers’ compensation insurance defense practice. Additionally, Cynthia has significant experience preparing documents imperative to the cases she works on and filing legal documents in accordance with existing rules and regulations.
Recognizing the importance of developing new and current attorneys at Nyhan, Cynthia plays an active role in the firm’s training schedule and education processes. She previously served on Nyhan’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council and currently coordinates the onboarding process for new attorneys.
Cynthia began her paralegal career in 1998 and has since obtained experience in various legal areas. Prior to joining Nyhan, her responsibilities concentrated primarily in the area of personal injury cases from pre-litigation to settlement and involved preparing, revising, analzyzing, and processing legal documents for attorneys.
In her free time, Cynthia enjoys biking, running, and spending time with her family, especially her two beautiful grandsons.
