Timothy Mercer Joins Set-Aside Some Time to Discuss the Impacts of Last Year’s MSP Changes

Nyhan’s Timothy Mercer recently appeared on Set-Aside Some Time, a podcast created by the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network (MSPN), to discuss the far-reaching impacts of last year’s changes to Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) that will inform professionals in 2025.

Tim was joined by Barrye Miyagi and Brendan de Souza, who are both on the MSPN 2025 Board of Directors, to highlight how the vast and varied changes made to MSP last year will impact legal professionals and their work in 2025. They discuss changes to Section 111 reporting practices including the importance of auditing procedures and recognizing all of the data that now needs to be reported in light of the change and touched on Section 11 civil money penalties.
