Governor Evers signed 2021 Wisconsin Act 232 into law on April 8, 2022.

On April 27, 2021 Governor Evers signed into law SB Bill 11 (now 2021 Wisconsin Act 29) which made important changes to the Wisconsin Workers’ Compensation Act. 

The family of a Walmart, Inc. employee in Illinois, who died due to complications from COVID-19, has filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court accusing the retail giant of failing to adequately screen and protect workers.
