Nyhan Elevates Camilla Russo and Taylor Walters to Associates Following Admission to Illinois Bar
Nyhan is proud to announce the addition of Associates Camilla Russo and Taylor Walters. Both attorneys passed the Illinois Bar in 2025 and focus their practices on workers’ compensation defense and previously interned with the firm from 2024 – 2025. In their roles, they gained practical experience drafting memos, preparing case briefs, and attending pretrial hearings and oral arguments, enhancing their understanding of the legal process and preparing them for their work as Associates.
Camilla draws on experience from across government, judicial, and private sector roles held domestically and abroad. She has a background in conducting legal research, drafting written analysis, and supporting litigation and policy work with a keen attention to detail.
Camilla earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she was a Fellow at both the Center for Constitutional Democracy and Indiana Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program as well as an Associate for the Indiana Journal for Constitutional Design. She holds a B.S. in Political Science from Grand Valley State University. She is fluent in Italian and speaks Spanish at an intermediate level.
Taylor leverages strong legal research and writing skills to support case strategy and legal analysis. He brings experience in investigating nuanced legal issues, drafting memoranda, and contributing to litigation preparation, translating intricate legal concepts into actionable insights that deliver thoughtful, well-supported advocacy.
He also previously served as a Law Clerk at a Chicago-area full-service commercial litigation firm.
Taylor earned his J.D., cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from DePaul University.
