Overview


Camilla (she/her) focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense, drawing on her experience from across government, judicial, and private sector roles she held domestically and abroad. She has a background in conducting legal research, drafting written analysis, and supporting litigation and policy work with a keen attention to detail.

Prior to her role as an associate, Camilla interned with the firm from 2024 – 2025. During her time with Nyhan, she received hands-on experience drafting memos and case briefs, attending pretrial hearings, and observing oral arguments.

Camilla distinguishes herself through a broad range of experiences that inform her client-centered approach. She served as an international legal intern at a business law firm in Buenos Aires, in which she learned about a variety of Argentine law practice areas. Camilla also interned and externed at numerous public offices across Illinois and Michigan, including for Retired Alderman James Cappleman, the Honorable Judge Regina Scannicchio of the Circuit Court of Cook County’s Domestic Relations Division, Congressman Bill Huizenga, the U.S. representative for Michigan’s 4th congressional district, and the Office of the City Attorney in Grand Rapids. In these roles, she reviewed and compiled reports on proposed legislation, prepared for mediations of a high-profile case, and drafted legal briefs as well as correspondences to constituents.

She is fluent in Italian and speaks Spanish at an intermediate level.
