Nyhan Honors National Nurses Week

In honor of National Nurses Week, starting on National Nurses Day, May 6, and extending through May 12, Nyhan is proud to recognize the exceptional efforts of our Nurse Consultants, Andrea Hritz and Jennifer McClain.

Our two Nurse Consultants provide crucial perspectives, leveraging their decades of clinical experience alongside their legal knowledge to assist clients in workers’ compensation and Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) matters.

Andrea helped set the standard for life care planning in the workers’ compensation arena as one of the industry’s first Medicare set-aside nurses and uses her nursing background to predict future medical needs for every claimant. She is both a Certified Nurse Life Care Planner and Certified Medicare Secondary Payer professional and provides crucial analysis on medical and pharmacy records and payment histories to create personalized life care plans.

Jennifer brings over 20 years of Registered Nurse experience, working in intensive care, cardiac care, long-term acute care, hospital administration, and as a certified case manager (CCM). Her MSP background helps her assist clients in plaintiff and defense cases by providing thorough and accurate Medicare Set Asides and Medical Cost Projections. Jennifer is licensed as a Registered Nurse in Louisiana and is a Certified Medicare Secondary Professional Fellow (CMSP-F).

National Nurses Week spans from May 6 to May 12 every year, extending recognition to all nurses with a week-long celebration.
