Nyhan Welcomes Miles Cahill as Partner

Nyhan is proud to announce the addition of Miles Cahill as Partner. He brings over 40 years of litigation experience throughout Illinois’ trial and appellate court systems, including the state’s Supreme Court.

Miles regularly defends employers in workers’ compensation and employers’ liability matters and represents carriers and businesses in subrogation claims. Representing clients across Illinois and Indiana, he possesses a thorough understanding of the jurisdictional nuances in every matter, from case evaluation through resolution.

He previously served as Managing Partner at a boutique law firm, where he advised employers and insurance carriers on the full spectrum of personal injury and workers’ compensation issues. Miles regularly advised clients on mitigating litigation risk, developing effective case strategies, and pursuing alternative dispute resolution.

He has been recognized by Super Lawyers and was named by Leading Lawyers as a Top 10 Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney.

Miles earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 1984 and received his B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Illinois in 1981.
