Nyhan Welcomes New Partners Jill Kastner and Tammy Paquette to the Firm

Nyhan is pleased to announce the addition of partners Jill Kastner and Tammy Paquette to the firm.

Jill focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, leveraging almost two decades of hands-on experience in various corporate law firms across the Chicagoland area. She has successfully represented nationally recognized companies against workers’ compensation claims and is skilled in managing all levels of claims, including litigation and appeals.

She has also served as an employer representative on the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Board for the State of Illinois’ Workers’ Compensation Commission since 2019, and she is a regular lecturer on industry-related topics throughout the country.

Jill earned her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School and her B.A. from North Central College.

Tammy concentrates her practice in the area of workers’ compensation in complex cases before the commission. She works tirelessly to protect the interests of her clients, which include multinational automobile manufacturers, hospitals, and consumer goods corporations.

She is also an active member of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section of the Illinois State Bar Association and a regular guest speaker and presenter at safety conferences and with claims teams and risk consultants.

Tammy received her J.D. from DePaul College of Law and her B.A. from Loyola University.
