Overview
David Victor (he/him) is a partner at Nyhan with more than 30 years of experience representing clients’ needs in workers’ compensation and civil litigation. David has extensive trial and appellate experience in both Illinois and Wisconsin, representing large and small businesses and insurance companies. David enjoys the challenge of working in multiple jurisdictions, which allows him to bring a unique perspective to each of his cases.
David began his career working for the Office of the Chief Judge of Cook County and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office. He eventually began handling workers’ compensation claims for Cook County, the fifth largest employer in the state of Illinois. David then led the midwest legal team for a large national employer, which allows him to bring a first-hand understanding of employer issues to his current endeavors. David believes the practice of law is a cooperative and collaborative venture requiring not only a keen understanding of the law but also an understanding of his clients’ goals and desires to obtain the best possible outcome.
In his free time, David enjoys all things food-related, including cooking for his friends and family. He also enjoys gardening and playing with his dogs. David’s mind palace is full of trivial facts – especially related to music, food, Chicago sports, and comic books.
