Nyhan Attorneys Present at WCTI’s 45th Annual Meeting
Nyhan Shareholders Heather Boyer, Christine Jagodzinski, and Daniel Simones and Partner Anne-Marie Foster recently presented “Leveraging Your IME Opinion,” at Workers’ Compensation Trust of Illinois’ (WCTI) 45th Annual Meeting.
Their presentation explored best practices for effectively using independent medical examinations throughout the workers’ compensation defense process, from examiner selection and report development to settlement, deposition, and trial.
The event provided opportunities for member manufacturing companies to come together and discuss emerging topics in workers’ compensation and progressive workers’ safety programs. During the annual meeting, the organization honored various members with awards revolving around safety performance and programming.

Heather Boyer concentrates her trial and appellate practice in Workers’ Compensation and has conducted hundreds of hearings throughout the entire State of Illinois. A large portion of her practice centers around Staffing Agencies and Self-Insured clients.
Christine concentrates her practice in workers’ compensation and employment law. She works across various industries and insurance structures including uninsured, insured, self-insured, and excess insurance. With more than 23 years of trial experience, she designs personalized strategies tailored to each case, navigates unusual issues, and manages exposure in both unique and familiar disputes.
Daniel Simones focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense matters and Medicare Secondary Payer Act advocacy as a shareholder with Nyhan. Dan represents a diverse group of clients to help achieve their unique goals, whether that be fast and favorable settlements or defending cases via trial.
Anne-Marie Foster concentrates her practice in workers’ compensation and civil litigation matters involving personal injury and employment discrimination. She has served as lead counsel in a multitude of complex litigation matters before federal and state courts as well as multiple administrative agencies.
